Build A Solar Power Generator

Can You Build a Solar Generator This Fast?

Everybody wants to know how a solar panel can be built cheaply.  But you also want to be able to make it quickly and easily too.  Yes, we can help show you how to build a solar power generator for about $200-300, but don’t you want to know how to create electricity using sun power as fast as possible?  Well, we have all the steps virtually memorized by now.  But we also have a guide for those of you who need something that’s easy to follow.  More on this in a minute.  What if you have home appliances that will use 80-100 watts per day.  Then you’ll need to think in terms of a 20 watt solar panel.  Once your batteries have a full charge, then your homemade generator will do the work necessary to power your items.

Once you’re committed to doing it yourself, the first step is to secure a 12 volt solar panel.  You can find these either online or at a nearby shop for a cheap price - certainly under $200.  In order to store the electricity as it’s being produced, you’ll also require a rechargeable sealed battery.  The output will need to be in AC form, so a 175 watt inverter will also be necessary as part of this project.  Other parts include a cheap voltage meter for load monitoring and a charge controller as well.  You can build a solar power generator with these components, but there’s still more to do.  We’ll cover this in Part II.
